JPN Burst

Learn, type, and repeat in bite-sized progressively harder mini-games until you master these two kana systems.

JPN Burst is currently not a finished game and may or may not change significantly over the course of development.

JPN Burst has no target date for its completion.

Features

• Type Everything Gameplay
  • Phase 1: Quick tutorial
  • Phase 2: Randomized flashcards that will inflict damage on you if you don't answer within 10 seconds
  • Phase 3: More flashcards, but this time with words instead of individual kana
• Learn 12 lessons of Hiragana
• Learn 12 lessons of Katakana
• 4 Benchmark Tests
  • Kana will come from the side of the screen and you will have to type them before they get to the other side.
• Level Up System
  • Level up to get less of a cooldown on your in-game hints.
• Shop System
  • You can buy HP.
  • You can buy books that lead you into a variety of mini-games.
• Study Mode/Timed Mode
• Variety of Mini-Games

Planned Content

• Story
  • There are currently 4 episodes and all of them are incomplete. It's just there to help motivate the player to progress through the lessons.
  • Each episode is intended to be less than five minutes.

• Harder Difficulties
  • There are harder difficulties available, but it's only available after beating the game. Very untested. Will probably crash the game.
• Polishing the Mini-Games
